House Colleagues & Unions Support Representative Wayne A. Matewsky

The Honorable Wayne A. Matewsky is profoundly grateful for the endorsement of his State House colleagues whom have acknowledged their support, as well as the endorsement of twenty nine (29) labor unions. From the American Federation of the Massachusetts Teachers Association, to the Boston Carmens Union, the IBEW and the Professional Firefighters of Massachusetts; and, equally all unions and those that that continue to endorse daily, your support defines us as a labor movement with strength and solidarity for working families across the Commonwealth.

The Massachusetts AFL-CIO (Today’ Unions) stated: We are supporting State Representative Wayne Matewsky (Bricklayers Local 3) for re-election. Wayne is a union member who knows that working people need a State Representative who understands their issues. As State Representative, Wayne has a 100% Labor Voting Record, supporting working families every step of the way. He has successfully fought to raise the minimum wage, has championed investments in transportation and infrastructure, supported students and teachers and stood up for the rights of workers. Wayne has consistently voted to support job creation for Everett citizens and will continue to be a tireless advocate for jobs with strong wages, fair benefits and work place protection. House Leader Paul J. Donato – Democrat, Medford stated: Wayne as a member of the Labor & Work Force Development Committee has proven himself to be a valuable asset to the committee. Wayne continuously advocates for the rights of workers and families and has proven himself in fighting for the passage of land mark legislation increasing the Massachusetts Minimum Wage.
