Performing with Boston Youth Symphony Orchestra

E1Jennifer Riche, a 17 year-old student from Everett, will be performing the violin with Boston Youth Symphony Orchestras’ to present a semi-staged opera – Puccini’s TOSCA. This is unique accomplishment
from these talented young musicians and the performance will take place on Sunday, January 19, 2014 at 3pm at Sanders Theatre Harvard University. This one-time only performance will be conducted by BYSO Music Director Federico Cortese with Stage Direction by Edward
Berkeley and will include renowned professional singers and 3 well-known Boston Choruses- Handel and Haydn Society Chorus, Boston Children’s Chorus and Convivium Musicum. They are truly proud to be the only youth orchestra in the country to present full, semi-staged operas and this will mark the 7th consecutive season doing so.
