Cynthia Sarnie Announces Her Candidacy for Councilor-at-large

Cynthia Sarnie of 338 Main Street is pleased to announce her candidacy for Councilor At Large. Representing my constituents of the City of Everett for the past 8 years I have worked on their behalf to solve the many issues facing our city. A chief concern is the city’s quality of life. I support the youth and elderly programs, as well as all public safety departments. My dedication to the city is unwavering, and I will continue to make cleaner streets, better education and public safety, a priority. In turn these improvements will help raise property values. As always, it is also my goal to listen to the concerns of my constituents and speak on their behalf.

I am a lifelong resident of Everett, raised and educated here. I have two children that are Everett Public School System graduates. My roots here are strong as I am a homeowner as well as a taxpayer, and I am active member of the Everett Kiwanis where we serve the children of the community and the world. Currently employed with Century Bank and Trust as Accounting Supervisor and affiliated with Everett Carpet Cleaning a family owned business that has been in operation since 1931.

I have chosen to serve on committees that I feel will help me to help our city, in order to be even more equipped to accurately address the concerns. Some of those committees that I have participated on are: Finance, Rules and Ordinance, Public Safety and Public Service. I will continue to work hard for the citizens of Everett. I work for you and no one else. My track record of fighting for my fellow citizens includes working with my colleagues to put a residence program in place so that Everett residents have preferential status when seeking employment with the city of Everett. We take care of our own first.

With your vote and my dedication, we can get results. Help me make our community a better place to live; vote Cynthia Sarnie for Councilor At Large.
