Maximiliana Maldonado

Retired Nurse’s Aide

Maximiliana D. (Dominguez) Maldonado of Everett died at the Kaplan Family Hospice in Danvers on August 16.  She was 86 years old.

Born in Peru, she was a nurse’s aide who retired from the Massachusetts State Hospitals.

She was the beloved and devoted mother of Roland D. Hughes, Esq. of Everett and was predeceased by many siblings.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Maximiliana’s Funeral Mass in the Immaculate Conception Church, 487 Broadway, Everett, on Thursday, August 22 at 11 a.m.  Interment will be private.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Maximiliana’s  memory to the charity of one’s choice would be sincerely appreciated.  Arrangements are by the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, Everett. Carolyn Mastrorio

Enjoyed spending time with her family, shopping, cooking and gardening

Carolyn (Shanahan) Mastrorio of Revere died at the Whidden Memorial Hospital on August 15. She was 67 years old.

Carol enjoyed spending time with her family as well as shopping, cooking and gardening.

The daughter of the late John F Shanahan and Viola Johnson, she was the beloved wife of the late Anthony “RFD”; devoted mother of Robert Mastrorio of Revere and the late William Mastrorio; dear sister of Eileen Ginepra of Chelsea, Robert Ginepra of Everett and the late Linda Ginepra and is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. William ‘Teddy’ Kennedy

Writer, Speaker and Documentarian

William “Teddy” Kennedy passed away suddenly at home on August 14. He was 48 years old.

Born on September 28, 1964 in Everett, William was one of eight children of the late John and Eleanor “Honey” (Higgins) Kennedy. He was a graduate of The Newman School, Class of 1983 and went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Massachusetts, a Master’s Degree from the University of San Francisco and later pursued post-graduate studies at the prestigious University of Kent in Canterbury, England.

William was a writer, speaker, and documentarian whose work covered a seemingly endless array of topics. He was the author of several books and was a frequent contributor to academic journals. A popular guest on radio and television shows throughout the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom, he appeared on The Learning Channel, The Discovery Channel and The Biography Channel was the host of his own internet radio program.

Teddy was the loving brother of Maureen, Thomas, Jon, Pamela, Terrence, and the late Robert and Mark and the loving uncle of Christopher, Mark, Ryan, Alycia, Julie, Peter, Sabrina, and Kaityn.

Well respected by his colleagues worldwide, he will be dearly missed by his family, close friends and fans.

A Memorial Service was held on Saturday, August 17 at Our Lady of Grace Church in Chelsea. Arrangements were by the Murphy O’Hara Funeral Home, 519 Broadway, Everett.
