Summer City Works Participates in Community Service

Campers and councilors of the City Works summer camp helped the Everett Police Department clean their vehicles.

Recently over 100 of Everett’s youth, who are attending the City Works summer camp, assisted the Everett Police Department in washing the EPD vehicles.  Camp members and counselors washed the vehicles in an effort to teach the youth about the importance of community participation and community service.

“The main objective of the community service initiatives completed by City Works is to unite the youth with community members and organizations and to teach them to work selflessly towards a common service goal,” stated Mayor DeMaria.

entertainment, weekly field trips, community service and much more. The program accommodates children between the ages of six and thirteen.
