Annie Elio

Of Charlestown

Annie Elio of Charlestown died on May 16.

She was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Antoniette; sister of the late Carmen, Theresa Cardalino, Lena Vetrano and her twin sister Josephine and is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Frederick Costa

Retired Assembler

Frederick A. Costa of Bedford, formerly of Somerville, died on May 15 at the E.N. Rogers Veterans Memorial Hospital in Bedford where he has been a resident for many years. He was 75 years old.

A US Navy veteran, he was born in Boston and was a retired assembler for a speaker company.

He was the beloved husband of the late Carmela (Andreotti); dear and devoted father of Lisa A. Polignone and her husband, Robert of Peabody and the loving grandfather of Brandon and Jonathon Polignone of Peabody.

Funeral arrangements were by the  Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, Everett. Entombment was at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, Malden.  Contributions in Fred’s  memory to  E. N. Rogers  Memorial Veterans Hospital “Activity Fund,” 200 Springs Road, Bedford, MA 01730, would be sincerely appreciated.

Paula Magee

Of Everett, formerly of Winthrop

Paula J. (Coughlin) Magee of Everett, formerly of Winthrop, passed away at home on May 16,. She was 51 years old.

An employee of Citizens Energy Corporation and a former District Director of U.S.A. Hockey, she was the devoted mother of Raymond N. Magee of Winthrop and Justin J. Magee and Jillian C. Magee, both of Brooklyn, NY. Born in Boston, she was the cherished daughter of the late Paul and Nancy (Giacobbe) Coughlin and the dear sister of Nancy Adiletto of Florida, Dina Poirier of East Boston, and Joe Coughlin of Everett. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Her Funeral will be held from the Maurice W. Kirby Funeral Home, 210 Winthrop St. , Winthrop on Thursday, May 23  at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. John the Evangelist Church-Winthrop, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited. Ralph Noe, Sr.

Former Owner of Noe’s Ice Cream Truck and Rita’s Food Fair at the Northeast Trade Center

Ralph Noe, Sr. of Everett, formerly of the West End of Boston, died on May 14.

Mr. Noe was a US Army Korean War veteran and a late member of the Teamsters Local #25. He was also the former owner of Noe’s Ice Cream Truck and Rita’s Food Fair at the Northeast Trade Center.

The beloved husband of Rita (Piantedosi) for 59 years, he was the father of Ralph Jr. of Pompano Beach, Florida, Robert and his wife, Maryann of Lynnfield, Richard and his wife, Michele of Concord, NH, Rhonda of Bedford, and Randy of Everett; son of the late Salvatore and Jeannette; brother of Joseph of Charlestown and is also survived by five grandchildren: Marissa, Ariana, Nicolette, Tyler, and Robert Jr.
