The death this weekend of Al Vega the noted musician and bandleader from Everett brings to an end a wonderful life.
He was all about personal charm, musical ability and class.
He was known as a man for all seasons and was always identifiable by the tuxedo he wore whenever he was playing for an audience.
He was a good man with a wonderful spirit and his music was a reflection of that each time he took the stage wherever he played.
Al Vega wasn’t just another bandleader. He was a true legend and a giant of a man who was always, in everything he attempted, a great teacher and a complete gentleman.
He will be sorely missed by all of us who knew him and who enjoyed his music.
