A Linden Street triple-decker was engulfed by fire and destroyed during a difficult fire fought Monday afternoon.

The home that burned was at 93 Linden Street, close to the former Everett High School building.

It was a three-alarm fire and firefighters and apparatus from Malden, Medford, Melrose and Chelsea also fought the blaze.

No injuries were reported.

Damages exceeded $300,000 and approximately eight people were left without a home.
