The city has decided to go with a new charter.

We have supported this effort all along as a new charter doesn’t hurt the city and its management. Indeed, it will show itself as a document aiding in giving this place a better government and a stronger, more modern and all-inclusive document that makes governing easier and fairer.

The voters have spoken for charter reform.
