Stephanie Logan-Severino

Died as result of an automobile accident

Stephanie B. Logan-Severino of Melrose, formerly of Malden, died at the Melrose Wakefield Hospital as a result of injuries received in an automobile accident on August 1. She was 26 years old.

Born in Boston and a longtime Melrose resident, she was an administrative assistant, working in various offices.

She was the wife of Robert W. Severino; dear and devoted mother of Brianna and Makayla Logan of Melrose; loving daughter of Joy Logan of Melrose; devoted granddaughter of Ellen Logan of Revere; dear and loving sister of Brian Logan of Melrose and Rachel Logan of Malden.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her memorial service in the Grace Ministries Church, 101 Main St., Saugus, Friday, August 6 at 2 p.m. Contributions in her memory to the above named church would be sincerely appreciated.

 

Everett ‘Bob’ Shedden

Of Peabody, formerly of Everett

Everett C. “Bob” Shedden of Peabody, formerly of Everett, died on July 31. He was 83 years old.

A graduate of Everett High School, he was a US Navy veteran of World War II. A Mason, he was Past Grand Master with Jordan Lodge of Peabody and Shriners Aleppo Temple, Scottish Rite 32 Degree.

He was the beloved husband of Ethel J. (Mulley) Shedden of Peabody, father of Robert W. and Darlene Shedden of Peabody, Donna and William Callahan of Wyndham, NH and Laurie and Andrew Coan of Danvers, grandfather of William D. Callahan III of New Hampshire and also leaves many nieces and nephews.

His Funeral Ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. today in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St. location, Peabody. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Burial will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. Josephine Delcore

Retired Social Worker

Josephine D. (Merola) Delcore of Melrose, formerly of Everett, died on July 30. She was 96 years old.

She was born and raised in Everett and was a graduate of Everett High School. She worked as a social worker for the Mystic Valley Elder Services for many years before retiring at the age of 88.

The beloved wife of the late Daniel Delcore, she was the loving and cherished mother of Joseph C. Delcore and his wife, Barbara, of Wakefield, Daniel J. Delcore and his companion, Bonnie Bradley, and John P. Delcore and his wife, Kathleen, all of Melrose; dear grandmother of Deborah McGovern, Christine, PFC David, John Jr., Stephen, Brian and the late Daniel Delcore and caring great grandmother of Rachel McGovern, Vivian Delcore, Rosemarie and Ryan Lee. She was the sister of the late William, Charles, Lillian, Alfred and George Merola, Clara Marzocchi and Jean Taglialatela and is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Ottavio ‘Tuffy’ Prizzio

Hanover resident

Ottavio J. “Tuffy” Prizzio of Hanover, formerly of Hyde Park and Readville, died July 25 at the Life Care Center in Scituate. He was 89 years old.

The son of the late John and Antoinette (Vanelli) Prizzio, he was born in Roxbury on June 16, 1921. He was raised and educated in Roxbury and was a graduate of Mass Trade School. Mr. Prizzio served in the US Army during World War II with the 101st infantry. He was later employed as an Inspector for the MBTA.

He was the husband of the late Patricia E. (McElligott) Prizzio and is survived by one son, Jerry Prizzio, of Everett, two grandchildren, John and Kristine, and one great grandchild, Keira. He was the brother of the late Dominic Prizio and Phyllis Sheehy.

She was the beloved wife of the late Vincent A. Palazzo Sr.; devoted mother of Ann Marie DeAngelis and her husband, Louis, of Burlington, Vincent A. Palazzo Jr. and his wife, Virginia, of Belmont; loving grandmother of Melissa Cunningham, Gregory, Elizabeth and Christa Palazzo; loving great grandmother of Sean and Ryan Cunningham; dear sister of Anna Mazzone of Waltham, Rose Subrizio and her husband, Orlando, of Revere and the late John Napolitana, Mildred Rumore, Ann Ruel and Theresa Paragona.

William Leonard, 75

Danvers resident

William A. “Bill” Leonard of Danvers, formerly of Topsfield and Everett, died on July 30. He was 75 years old.

Born and raised in Everett, he was the son of the late William H. and Anna (DeMoor) Leonard. He received his education in the Everett school system and earned his Bachelor of Science Degree from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy, class of 1956. Mr. Leonard owned and operated Fraher’s Apothecary in Topsfield for 38 years until the time of his retirement in 2002.

He was the beloved husband of Ann M. (Connolly) Leonard; father of Deirdre O’Leary and her husband, Mark, of North Andover, Neil Leonard of Boston and William B. Leonard and his wife, Megan, of Westwood; cherished grandfather of five and brother of Barry Leonard of Gloucester.

Robert P. “Bob” McCann Sr. of Somerville died on July 27.

He was the beloved husband of the late Doris (Salvato); father of Robert Jr. and his wife, Jane, of Somerville, James and Dennis McCann and his wife, Peggie, all of Everett; son of the late James and Bridget McCann; grandfather of six and great grandfather of four and brother of five deceased brothers and sisters.

She was employed by Riso, Inc., Danvers and ITT Corp., Gloucester.

The beloved wife of Lucien Baptiste, she was the loving daughter of Annemarie (Chevry) and Pierre Pacombe of Medford; sister of Leonardine “Didine” Pacombe of Washington, DC and Kerlyne Pacombe Jones of Malden; dearest aunt of Angelique Pacombe-Jones.

John A. Stathos of Malden died on July 22.

Claire J. (Racca) Langone of Everett died on July 24.

The beloved wife of the late Joe Deasy, she was the loving mother of William “Buddy” of Wyoming; daughter of the late Sam and Mary Racca and the sister of six late siblings. She was the devoted wife of the late Sheldon Casper; beloved mother of Mark and Marjorie Casper, Robin Casper and Alan Casper; dear sister of Norma and the late Sheldon Butter and Harold and Sandra Hoffman; cherished grandmother of Candice and Michael Montero, Jared Casper, Andrew Greenberg, Samantha Greenberg and the late Jacob Greenberg; adored aunt of many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
